Mark's nomination story

I have know Mark for ten years and from the very first impression he has been one of the most driven people I have every met. Most of all what has always impressed me has been his charity work. For Mcmillon he has raised over £1m himself by running masses of marathons around the world. The founder event of the olympics being the event he does best seems only fitting for such a person to be a torch bared. That said, he was also my boss for most of bthe ten years I new him and he was very good at that as well. So it is very rare indeed to find such a great boss is also a great person and a huge giver. This would be most deserved and fitting for this proud man to have the honour of carrying the olympic torche.I have helped raise almost one million pounds for charity. I have run run most of my marathons for Macmillan Cancer Support and continue so to do. I was a 'Marathon Ambassador' for our company team and continue to speak for Macmillan
