Mark has been a Scout Leader for the past 20 years since leaving Scouts himself spreading fun and happiness in an innovative way. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience as a Scout and I love giving back what I got out. Getting out into the community and giving the young people experiences that they wouldn't necessarily get otherwise; from jumping off cliffs to climbing mountains flying planes and riding on jet skis as well as getting back to basics and teaching them how to build fires make shelters and cook meals without giving themselves food poisoning! Watching these young people mature and develop skills that they go on to use later in life brings a smile and makes the volunteering worth while. Not only does scouting set you up for later in life it can produce life long friends and memories.
