Mark Thompson

Mark works very hard in the local Belfast community. He gives up three nights a week to volunteer as a Scout leader. The Scout Association promotes personal development, physical, intellectual, social and spiritual well-being of individuals, helping them achieve their full potential. Essentially he is working with the next generation to help them be as good as they can be. One night a week is spent mentoring cubs aged between 8 and 11. The other two nights are spent with the 16-21 year old Venturer scouts. He also dedicates one weekend monthly so the Venturers can go partake in residential adventurous activities. Furthermore Mark works tirelessly to raise money for charity, most recently raising £200 for Maire Curie running the Belfast Marathon. CR
