Mark Proctor

From having started paddling at his local Canoe Club, Stafford and Stone Canoe Club, Mark progressed through the junior ranks, culminating in him winning the Bronze medal at the 2006 junior European Championships. Since that time, Mark has successfully transitioned to senior level, having been a senior European Championship finalist in 2010 and 2011 and finishing 4th at the U23 European Championships. Mark is an excellent role model to others who aspire to progress to the top in our sport and a great ambassador for the sport of canoe Slalom. Mark's nomination comes as his professionalism and approach to his own development and the high standards that he sets himself on a daily basis are an example for all to follow. This mature approach will not only assist his own progression towards his personal targets, but is an inspiration for all, inside and outside of the sport of Canoe Slalom.
