Marjorie Hurwitz-Bremner

I wish to nominate my mother Marjorie Hurwitz Bremner. She volunteers her time regularly in the local community; she has been the Secretary of Finchley Children's Society, responsible for coordinating fundraising, has acted as a judge in the local Youth Enterprise Programme, and takes part in Barnet Education Partnership helping educate students about business. She is a Board member of Careers Academy at Woodhouse College and a business mentor. She has been a Sunday school teacher and helps in crèche at her Church.She has run or power walked 9 marathons (including an ultra marathon) so far raising thousands of pounds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, a Mental Health charity, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and for Breast Cancer research. She is about to swap her trainers for sequins to take part in a charity Strictly Come Dancing event to raise money for Richard House Children's Hospice.
