Marion Marchant

We are St Marks Church of England First School, from Swanage, Dorset. Marion's nomination is recognition for the time energy and love she freely gives to our community. It's the small things that make a difference, standing in the snow at 6.00 am to make sure the school can open for the children, knowing each child's name and praising each little achievement, taking the time to get to know the families, encouraging, supporting and leading the school quietly and positively. On any day you are just as likely to find her chairing a governors meeting, supporting the head and staff at the school, singing and dancing with the children and baking those all-important cakes for fundraising. Marion is our ?Head of Governors ?She runs the Toddler Group ?Works at Pre School ?PTA Member ?Runs Messy Church group ?Has volunteered at St Marks Church for over twenty years. And most importantly ? Daughter, Wife and Mother Marion is our friend, colleague and our shining torch for St Marks future
