Mariam Kazem-Malaki

Mariam has been volunteering on the TEAM (anti-discrimination project) for many years. She's a natural leader and empowers those around her. When Mariam turned 16, she helped staff to establish TEAM+ for over 16s so that they, too could fight racism and bullying. Mariam has a great sense of humour, but behind the scenes works really hard to achieve her potential. She will go to University in October and hopes to continue volunteering and completed her Duke of Edinburgh Award. Mariam's legacy will live in Bournemouth through the people's lives shes touched during her years of Youth volunteering,
