Greta Bruce

Greta may be only thirteen years old but this has not stopped her becoming a leading light for Breakthrough Breast Cancer as a £1,000 Challenger.

Over the past two years, Greta's phenomenal work has raised money through parties, Christmas Carol singing and getting her school behind her and the charity. Greta has got the whole of her family doing their bit now and dad is all signed up for a fundraising bike ride this summer

Greta's hard work is for her mum, who has breast cancer. With over 48,000 women diagnosed every year, Greta's support of Breakthrough really does make a difference, through funds and by spreading the message to be breast aware.

Greta is humble and dedicated and shows leadership in her community that no one could expect of someone her age. She is an outstanding candidate and fully deserving of the accolade of being a torch bearer.
