Anne Ellis

Anne has been involved with hockey for more than 50 years. She has been an inspirational player for Wales and Great Britain, a coach, an umpire and the most dedicated of volunteers. Anne has participated in key roles ranging from her club (SwanseaLHC) to her county (South Wales HA), her National Association (Welsh Hockey Union), the European Federation (EHF) and the International Hockey Federation (FIH) where she has chaired the Development Committee and been an Executive Board Member for many years. Additionally Anne is a member of the Great Britain Hockey Board and has has been Chair of the Sports Council for Wales and Chair of the Welsh Commonwealth Games Council. She has made such a difference to everyone around her. She gives respect and reward to everyone she works alongside and is truly a hampion of her sport.
