Malcolm is a 59 year old man from Loughborough who due to a disability can not work. After losing his wife a few years ago he through himself into his charity work. He is a member of the British Legion in which he helps run events and fundraiser's and is also one of the main organises for the remembrance parade. As well as helping out with them he also gets heavily involved with cadets organisations in the area. At air cadets he runs the canteen, gets them involved with local events and helps fund-raise. He also does the same for sea cadets and army cadets giving them opportunities to work together. As well as this he has helped organise local events such as the World War 2 weekend at Great Central Railway. He is a real asset to our local community and I believe without him a lot of things wouldn't work and the children in the area wouldn't have the opportunities that they do.
