Malcolm is currently the oldest full time serving uniformed firefighter in the uk , having given 34 years to the Surrey Fire and Rescue Service, represented the uk in the world fire fighter games in New Zealand having won a gold medal , coached children under 11 and up to 15 in football in his own time for many years , raised £30, 000 for Marie Curie Cancer Charity in 1997 , he remains a keen sporting fan and still participates in lots of sports
