Malcolm's nomination story

A paraplegic since 1971 he cnannelled his passion for sport through White Horse Primary Schools under 11's voluntarily for 45 yrsIt is my intention to continue the voluntary activities that I am currently undertaking as I wish to give young people every opportunity to use their talents. I shall continue being Secretary/Treasurer of the Vale of White Horse Primary Schools' Football Association something I have been doing for the past 45 years. I started teaching in 1966 but had to retire from sport owing to a severe illness which resulted in me being paralysed and in 1971 I became a full time wheelchair user and then a member of Round Table for 14 years. I retired from teaching in 1995 and extended my voluntary work by becoming an Advisor at our local Advice Bureau in Wantage. I am also the Primary Secretary of Oxfordshire Schools' Football Association.
