Major General Keith Spacie

Keith Spacie is a member of the worlds oldest cross country running club and a lifelong athlete (still competing at the age of 76) As a keen supporter of Guildford`s Stoke Park and open spaces he is working closely with Guildford Council to establish the Guildford parkrun (fre 5km runs nationwide manned by volunteers for people of all ages and abilities). When a visiting fellow at Surrey University Keith researched team building and leadership in many fields and carried out vital work into the impact of stress on the armer forces. He takes a leading role in Neighbourhood Watch and local churc affairs; re-establishing links between the Queens regiment and Holy Trinity Guildford, and initiated the proposal for a WRAC memorial chapel in St Mary`s Guildford. A long time Guildford resident with a distinguished military record. Keith`s community work and physical fitness, offer much to inspire the young people of Guildford
