Maisie's nomination story

Maisie is my 12 year old sister. She has Osteogenesis Imperfecta, or Brittle Bones. Through out her life she has broken too many bones for me to count, including her neck, arms and legs. She is now bound to a wheelchair, unable to walk because of deformities to her hips and can rarely use her crutches due to her arms being too weak. But, after all of this i am glad to say she is one of the happiest and most content girls i know. Rarely complaining, she does things to the best of her abilities. Her 'can do' attitude has helped me through recent problems I've had myself and she has shown me not to let things get me down and helped me keep my chin up, that and her surprisingly quick sense of humor, never failing to put smiles on peoples faces! I am proud to call her my little sister and i hope that you give her this opportunity. Thank you for you time.
