Lynne Powell & her Sister-In-Law Gaynor Williams have for many many years fund raised for Cancer charities i.e Macmillan Nurses, Marie Curie - they have taken part in numerous fund raising adventures i.e they have climbed Kilimanjaro, also whilst in Tanzania they spent time helping out at an orphanage, trekked to Machu Picchu, climbed to Mount Everest base camp on 2 occassions, trecked the Sahara desert, walked the the Great Wall of China, and have organised numerous local events i.e. raffles / Coffee mornings / sponsored walks / concerts etc - They have sat on supermarket forecourts in all weathers selling raffle tickets & Marie Curie daffodils - They have raised a staggering amount of money in excess of for £100000 for what is a very dear cause to them both & to all people that have unfortunatly felt the effects of cancer.

They never moan or sing their own praises and are extreamly enthusiastic.

They both live in a small Village in South Wales called Cwmgwrach they are seen by all who live in the village as Ambassadors for Cwmgwrach, this is due to their reputation for fund raising and kindness far surpassing our small boundries.

Finally they are both actively involved in the Local School & Church where they help out on a regular basis.
