Lynda Lally

Lynda Lally has lived in Beeston all her life and is very passionate about the community of her home town. For 14 years she has represented her area on the local council and has also been The Mayor. She gets involved and supports many of the community groups and organisations. 6 years ago she had the idea of reviving Beeston Carnival, this is a coming together of the community, working with local groups individuals and businesses to put on this annual event. The event promotes local talent with music and dance, also a parade though the centre of Beeston and stalls to promote awareness of our many groups. More recently Lynda became our Community Champion at Beeston Tesco and she has been able to build on her links with the Beeston commmunity, promoting and raising money for voluntary and community groups.
