Luke White

Luke is an extremely determined and courageous student who constantly strives for excellence. Since joining Magnus School in September he has trained hard and represented the school extensively at both rugby and football. He works hard in all lessons across the school and has proven a quiet yet well respected role model amongst his friends and peers. Luke manages to support everything the school has to offer; particularly within PE and Sport, on top of his considerable commitments for Lincoln City Football Academy and the challenges he faces with regular trips to hospital for skin graft treatments to his head. Take this week for example, on top of his usual football academy training and matches he has fully engaged in our January running by returning to the school fields each night to complete lap after lap of the course. If that was not enough, he is also due in London for the day on Thursday to have yet another operation. Luke deserves this opportunity, not only for his on-going achievements despite the challenges he faces but, most importantly, for the modest and undiscerning manner in which he continues to do so.
