Aged 10 I played my 1st hockey match'"as GK for the opposition'"aged 16 I represented Ireland at the Youth Olympics'"my passion got me there.My dream is to become a Senior Olympian. With sustained drive & dedication this is a realistic goal.

In school, I coach juniors & inspire them to follow in my footsteps. I've proved that through persistent hard work & commitment, competing at an international level is attainable.

Through volunteering in my local Special Olympic club, I help others achieve their dream to be the best they can be. Their determination to overcome what seem like small challenges to us but are huge for them, is inspirational. Sport is so much more than playing a game'"it has enhanced my whole life & taught me valuable lessons in relating to others & working as a team. I hope to share this knowledge through continuing to coach hockey & my work with Special Olympics
