Louise Davies

Louise is a Clinical Nurse Specialist working for Neurosciences and based in Derriford Hospital Plymouth. Louise works extremely hard supporting patients and their families who are affected by brain and spinal tumours. As you can imagine this is a very challenging job caring for very sick patients with limited life expectancy. As one of Louise's colleagues I have witnessed how very hard she works over and above what is required of her in her role. She really cares about the patients and their families ensuring that the patients get the treatment and support that they so need. Louise would be absolutely thrilled to be able to represent the county by being one of the torchbearers. I would love to see her efforts rewarded in this way. It is a difficult time within the NHS at the moment and the feel good factor from having one of our staff represent us in this way would be fantastic. Please consider this very deserving nurse.
