Louis-Philippe Loncke

One can certainly call Louis Philippe a real explorer. He has already undertaken several international solo-expeditions, often in deserted territories where no human being has ever set foot before. But also within the confines of Belgium he's a very active man. This summer with his kayak he crossed 600 kms of Belgian channels and this in the context of the BelgiKayak project. This project was introduced to emphasize the beauty of the Belgian landscape. In short, each of his projects has an ecological or cultural starting point. Louis-Philippe is by the way a member of the famous Explorers Club of which e.g. also Neil Armstrong is a member.
