THREE one mile solo swimathons in 1998, 2000 & 2001 fundraising for the RDA. Maker of Craft & Lacework for RDA fundraising. Blue Peter Badge for inspiring Community volunteer work at our local hospital. RDA Dressage Silver cup winner (Prince Phillip). Winner of young Artist Award for Mouth-Painting. Campaigned with Dame Vera Lynn to save our A&E . Sponsored silence for another charity. Due to appear on Blue Peter later this year to promote RDA activities in connection with Olympics. Lorraine shows selfless bravery and continued leadership in the face of incredible challenges and much CONSTANT pain. All without proper limbs, and as a thalidomide, NOT expected to live.
