Lorna is a delightful first year pupil. As well as working hard at her school work Lorna has lots of other interests many of which reach out to the school and local community. . . Lorna plays the clarsach, she is a member of the school traditional music group. They will be playing at the school annual Burns' Supper tomorrow night- a big occasion - and last night were featured on the BBC Scottish TV news.. She attends Lochaber Music School once a week. With the music school she played at the Christmas community concerts. She sings in the school 'Harmonise' choir who always delight audiences.. Lorna also attends the Feis in the Easter holidays - this is a week of Gaelic music, language and culture for pupils. . . The school has a global citizenship project and Lorna is part of the 'Mary's Meals' group who fundraise through craft activities sold in school and community. Most of the group have additional support needs and Lorna is always patient, kind and helpful with the group members.. She loves rock climbing, swims and runs, does mountain-bike races with the local cycling club.. At home she has an adopted pig and 2 lambs she helped hand-rear.. In any spare time she like to read!.
