Lewis raises money for charity, goes to an advanced course at the Sage Academy of Performing Arts and manages to study for his GCSE's at the Duchess's Community High School in Alnwick. In April 2011 Lewis came up with the idea of presenting a 12 hour radio show to raise funds for Carers Northumberland and Lionheart Radio. This took place on 18 April from raising a considerable amount which was halved between the two charities. Lewis was invited to 'The Northumberland Carers and Volunteers Party' in June at The Alnwick Gardens, where he was introduced personally to Her Majesty the Queen. He also presents a live weekly show from the station on a voluntary basis. Lewis was recently honoured with the Child of Achievement Award in the Pride of Northumberland Awards.
