My brother is such an inspiration to everyone who knows him. He is a dedicated fundraiser for numerous charities the main one being Action Cancer for which he has personally raised over £22,000. In 2007 my brother wanted to raise as much money as possible for a good cause so he signed up for a charity trek to China in aid of Action Cancer. Unfortunately this cause became much closer to his heart when our mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008. Throughout our mother's illness my brother kept raising as much money as he could and his determination inspired us to stay strong. During this time he also raised an additional £1200 to send his friend and his family over to stay in the Freemans Hospital in Newcastle Upon Tyne whilst his friend's 16 year old son battled a serious heart condition, unfortunately his friend's son passed away and my brother provided much needed support to his friend and looked after him during this difficult time. For the last 4 years my brother has also been the Chairman of the fundraising committee for the Northern Ireland Supporters Club and during this time he has helped to raise over £12,000 for various charities. My borther is the most inspirational person that i know and would do our country proud.
