Leehom Wang

Leehom Wang is an American-born singer-songwriter, record producer, actor and film director of Chinese descent. Wang has been active since 1995 and contributed in 25 albums. He is also a four-time winner of Taiwan's Golden Melody Awards, the Grammys of Taiwanese music.

Leehom was chosen as one of the torchbearers for 2008 Olympic Beijing Games to run on the first day of the torch replay in Greece. And he performed in the Olympics' closing ceremony in Beijing. He was listed as one of Goldsea's The 100 Most Inspiring Asian Americans of All Time .

With his great devotation to environment, he became the Environmental ambassador of Taipei in 2008. Leehom has also been ambassasador for various charity organizations such as Ronald McDonald House Charities and World Vision. Besides, Leehom was selected as Music ambassador of Universiade ShenZhen 2011 for his talented and healthy image.
