Lee's nomination story

Lee, My wonderful husband of 22 years would be absolutely honoured to carry the olympic torch. He is a Corporal Armourer in the RAF and in the last 5 years has raised money for CLIC Sargent, Cyprus Samaritans, and is currently training for a relay marathon to raise money for East Anglian Childrens Hospices. He is also doing a half marathon in August for CLIC Sargent his main charity. He previously ran the london Marathon in 2007. He is also a dedicated Samaritan giving 16 hours + a month to be there for those that need someone to turn to. Lee has been a Samaritan since 2003. Hes currently doing extra courses through the RAF to help his fellow colleagues, he attended a listening course last year, he has just finished a bereavement course and has applied for a course which will then allow him to be an attending officer to help bereaved partners and family through the devastation of losing a loved one within Military. Hes a Great Husband, and a Great Father to our 3 boys. Hes also passionate about his dogs and never fails to take them on a long daily walk whatever the weather. I can't sing his praises enough and it would be great if he could be included in the honour of carrying the olympic torch. Lee would certainly do it with pride and great happiness! Thankyou.
