Leah's nomination story

Leah has given up lots of her time doing a lot of activities that benefit our local community for the last 3 years Leah has volunteered as a young leader helping out at our local brownies unit were she is a massive help and credit to the unit. Not only has Leah given up her time doing brownies she is an active member of the Doncaster Youth Council which is a group of people that gather regularly and discuss the issues in there area and to improve the lives of children in Doncaster. She is a member of the Doncaster Children`s Trust Board and regularly gives up her time to attend these meetings the children's trust board has had an outstanding impact on the lives of children in Doncaster from producing a 5 year plan in improving the lives of children and young people in Doncaster. Also not to mention Leah has the honour of being a member of youth parliament and has the pleasure of representing Doncaster at the youth parliament events. All in all Leah is a very active member in the community and makes a difference for the better were ever she can.
