Leah's nomination story

Sent a 40ft container to a village and school in TheGambia full of recources. It has turned the childrens education and future around. My passion is to inspire and enable children around the world to learn about one another. By learning about our similarities and differences the children can shape the future. Having friends globally enables children to develop awareness of their place in the world and to prepare for changing and shaping the future of our earth globally.Part of my work involves working with schools in Gambia and Plymouth. The children in both locations have been learning about each others religion sport country and culture. Also by trading goods both schools have benefitted further. The Gambian school is able to use their craft skills to produce products to sell the money is put back into resourcing the school There are great drummers in Plymouth
