Alistair Harvey

I'd like to nominate Alistair for the work that he does for two local charities, Sussex Crimestoppers and Leo House. He helps Sussex Crimestoppers in many ways but one notable contribution was the creation of a film for volunteers to show during presentations in schools, village halls and day centres about the charity's work, particularly the free phone line and web address that anyone can use to anonymously pass on information about crime, helping to keep our local communities safe. Alistair is also a trustee for Leo House at Home, a charity that supports children and young people with a life-limiting condition. Although he runs from time to time he's not a marathon runner, so running in the inaugural Brighton Marathon to raise funds for Leo House was a real challenge. It was tough and we all truly respect him for managing to complete the course in a reasonable time!
