Lauren is a fun and lively young lady who devotes a vast amount of her own time to playing sport herself, and encouraging others to as well. She is a member of her school netball, rugby, cricket, stool ball and rounder's teams and has won her school colours in netball, rugby and rounder's. She has shown such amazing potential and dedication to PE that the school have fast tracked her so she can take her GCSE PE early. Outside of school Lauren is the captain of her local rugby team and even though she narrowly missed out on the chance to play for Sussex, she continues to travel 25 miles every Monday to train with the Sussex team. Lauren has continued on from Cubs into Scouts and won Most Improved, and Scout of the year as well as many other badges. She also spends her own time helping out with the Beavers which is where she shines as she loves to encourage younger children to enjoy extracurricular activities as much as she does. She provides a strong and positive role model to the beavers and her younger siblings and hopes one day to become a PE teacher. In addition to all of these activities Lauren is also striving for her bronze Duke of Edinburgh award which I'm sure will continue to her achieving her silver and gold awards.
