Lozzy's nomination story

Laurens determination and desire to succeed is second to none. Being a teenage wheelchair user presents so many challenges yet Lauren always wears a huge smile. Since joining the Watchtree Wheelers Cycling Group last year Lauren has strived to achieve, no excuses, no complaining just simply hard work which is now beginning to pay dividends.' (Ryan Dobson, Project Officer at the Watchtree Wheelers www.watchtree.co.uk ) 'Lauren is a remarkable young lady. Having worked with her for the last two years, I am witness to the enthusiasm and determination that she exudes. No matter what the activity (be it gardening, rock climbing, cooking or focused group work) she always puts herself forward to be involved, and as a result has challenged herself on many levels. Lauren is an inspirational individual and her appetite for life is infectious.' (Sam Massey, Funky Fridays - Wigton Youth Station
