Carrying the Flame through | |
Carrying the Flame on | |

I think Laura should carry the Olympic flame as over the last few years she has gone about a lifestyle change. She has become motivated and showing a maturity and willingness to go out and do. Not only that, but inspired those around her at work to get involved. It first started with the Race for Life, where she decided she'd go for it! Her enthusiasm not only pushed her on, but got those around her involved by getting them to race as well. Not only being satisfied with the Race for Life she has gone on to do local fun runs etc,to help raise funds for her community. After a short while Laura decided she wanted to raise the stakes on pushing herself even further on fund raising, this time by choosing to complete a skydive to raise money for Help for Heroes. A lot of people thought that she wouldn't go through with this, but her commitment and never give in attitude made her extra determined. Not only reaching her fund raising target and well above! But proving to herself and others that anything is achievable.Laura can be mistaken for a young, fun loving girl. Those of us that know her, realise she is determined, willing to help and get involved where it's needed. Her quest to carry on and continue the good work has shown those around her that she is an inspiration and fully deserves to carry the Olympic flame.
