Kim met Gordon Brown whilst he was PM due to her resounding successes & being a wonderful ambassador worldwide for Great Britain and the sport. She secured her 2nd World Water Ski Racing Championship in July 2009 after she won four out of four rounds at the 16th World Championships in Belgium. Kim entered her first World Championship in Sydney, Australia back in 1997 where she fell and broke her ankle. She was determined to prove that she could bounce back and be the best in the world and she did just that when she won the title of Women's World Water Ski Racing Champion at Hunstanton, Norfolk in 2005.
