Kieran's nomination story

(Rexam plc) Kieran Burke plays an active role in the community, from charity work to helping in and outside of Rexam, and has an abundance of infectious enthusiasm. Kieran ran a local football team for 10 years outside of work, including weekly training sessions at a low cost and obtaining sponsorship for kits. He also organised various activities such as litter picking and a float in the local gala for them. kieran ran the London Marathon twice, first for British Heart Foundation and then for the NSPCC. He also raised a substantial amount of money for Help for Heros when he did the Etape du Tour, a gruelling cycle over three mountains.Furthermore, at Rexam he is a member of both the Safety Committee and the Social Committee. He deserves this once-in-a-lifetime oppurtunity in recognition of his tireless efforts and commitment to helping the community and being an inspiring member of Rexam.
