Kevin Waddison

At the time of the relay Kevin will be Chairman of Hunstanton Round Table which raises and donates £20,000 per year for local good causes in Norfolk, he has been a key member for many years. He is also secretary of the East Anglian Round Table committee. This area as a whole raises hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes and charitable donations of many kinds to benefit their community. Round Table is a world wide organisation that was formed in Norfolk and it would be great for the organisation to be recognised, especially the Hunstanton organisation which raises the most money from any Anglian Round Table via several charitable events such as car rallies, endurance events etc. Kevin and his brilliant tablers give up Christmas morning for a huge charitable swim at Hunstanton which over 150 people participate in and the organisation also organises a huge bonfire night for the community at excellent prices so everyone can attend. Over the years the boys have given money to RNLI, Hospitals, Local sports groups, Scouts, Individual cases and many, many more besides and a look at the website www.hunstanonroundtable.com should help you make judgement. I am sure that this would also be an excellent gesture for Kevin as chairman and for Round Table in its founding area as a whole and hope that you would consider this a worthy choice.
