Kevin's nomination story

When Kevin was 14 he went into a house on fire and saved 4 children's lives by dragging them out the fire. When he was 16 his brother died from a heroin overdose which gutted him, however this just inspired Kevin to become a voluntary resident director sitting on a board of his local regeneration company as to ensure that local young people on the council estate that he lives got access to the best facilities thus hopefully keeping them away from crime and drugs. He sat on the board for 8 years. Kevin has also founded and coached the local boy's football team for the past 10 years to ensure that local kids have something positive to do. Kevin is 31, has three children who are 13, 8 and 9 months old. Kevin is currently studying a social work degree so he can help more young people in need. This would be a great oppotunity to give something back to Kevin which would make him so proud and something which he would never forget
