Kevin French

kevin is truly a local hero and he would be honoured to be an Olympic Torchbearer. Kevin is the catering manager at the local school. In this role he regularly goes the extra mile, holding special food events throughout the year to celebrate festivals and holds competitions offering prizes from his own pocket. Kevin is always part of the school charity days and regularly donates the food and his time to the cause. Beyond this he has run in five marathons raising money for Roy Castle Lung cancer, Harris Hospice Care and the British Legion. Just a few weeks ago Kevin ran the gruelling 'Marathon des Sables' crossing The Sahara and raising many thousands of pounds for Help the Heroes. Every Christmas he invites his neighbours and local community to his front garden which he adornes with lights from which he raises money for Demelza Childrens Charity. It would be a fitting testament to kevin's achievements for charity if he were to be honoured in this way.
