Kevin Byrne

Kevin is the founder and owner of a local business Checkatrade.com which employs 70 people in Selsey, West Sussex. He is a remarkable man and an inspirational leader. He ran 100 miles over 10 days last year to raise money for surgery for a child with cerebal palsy. He also works with the Lighthouse Foundation raising and contributing to 3 orphanages in Nepal housing 80 rescued children from the sex trade and abuse out there. He works hard and tirelessly for his business, his church, his family and for charity, having set up the Checkatrade Foundation last year to enable him to reach more individuals who might need help. As his neice I have known Kevin all my life, and I'm very proud to know him. He's spent a large part of his life being dedicated to helping and supporting people and I've never heard him complain. I know carrying the torch would be an honour for him.
