Kate's nomination story

I am extremely passionate about young people getting involved in PE and school sport!  I have worked in education for 10 years.  I work incredibly hard to pass this passion onto them and get them excited about the London 2012 Games.  I have worked tirelessly over the last year to retain our SSP to ensure we would have the structure in place to support this. I am excited that we have already got plans in place for Lloyds TSB NNSW 2012 and make sure this is one of the most important diary dates head teachers put in their school calendars. The Olympic values are incredibly relevant to all young people in their life, not just in sport.  Determination is an extremely important Value to me and I am convinced my personal and professional determination has had a huge impact on the widespread involvement of schools in Lloyds TSB NSSW.  I would be exceptionally honoured to be a torch bearer in the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay.  If I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity I would relish the chance to be an 'inspiration' to others and show that 'determination' and hard work can result in reaching your goals.
