Kat Parnell

I am nominating my younger sister. She has played football since she was 6. Her dedication and passion would inspire anyone. She played through school and started playing for Ipswich town at under 12s academy and stayed with them until she reached their ladies team. She is now studying at the University of Essex and started playing for Colchester United ladies first team. For the last few years she has been coaching football on a Saturday morning for children from the age of 5 to young teenagers. She started as the assistant to the same coach that taught her as a child and he then gave up the position to her and she now runs the coaching every Saturday morning without fail, even when she has exams or deadlines at university and throughout the horrendous weather in the winter. She is an inspiration to those young children.
