Kathryn was runner up in this years Worcestershire Woman of the Year. She has led St Clement's School effectively and efficiently, making sure that all stakeholders have a voice. The school has drastically improved since her appointment as head. She knows every child and parent personally and also has built strong links with the local church and local community. As well as being headteacher at St Clements, she has also helped out at other local schools and has become a local leader in education. She is also a fully fledged Ofsted inspector, having completed her training this year. Kathryn is always on the go, she goes either to the gym or for a swimming session before work and then partakes in long walks, cycle rides, boxercise as well as caring for her own family, including a sick mother. Kathryn always finds time for others and has many friends throughout Worcestershire. She is fit and enthusiastic about everything she does, always putting others before herself. I believe, as do my fellow colleagues and the pupils, that Kathryn would be the ideal candidate to help carry the Olympic torch. She really does deserve this opportunity!
