Kath Roxburgh

Every 6 weeks, Kath gives up around 5 hours of her spare time to carry out work for the Charity Research. To help raise money for the charity, Kath shows a great Show We Care attitude by going round her local area distributing envelopes to make people aware of the charity, giving them information on what their help can do and informing people how their donation, no matter how big or small can really make a difference to someones life.

Kath firstly distributes envelopes to peoples homes, then gives up more of her spare time to go back to those homes and collect any donations people may give, which are passed directly onto Cancer Research.

This is something which Kath has been doing for the past 10 years, no matter weather or conditions.

As Kath has donated so much of her own personal time to such a great cause, we feel it would be fitting to recognise her efforts with such a great honour as participating in the Torch Relay. CR
