Katharine Garland

Katharine is determined to improve the lives of local people by providing them with jobs that would otherwise be unavailable to them. She plays an active role in hospitality courses run by JHP Employability which has resulted in employment being given to 4 unemployed people from the local area in the last year. To enable this she has banned the phrase "previous experience required" for operational level vacancies! She also promotes jobs for working parents and currently has 7 working mothers on flexible working contracts.
