Kate Hincks

Kate has used a wheelchair for many years due to ongoing medical conditions including deafness, however she has not given in, getting her degree and master of law at Cheltenham(UofG) although it has taken her 8 years to do so, after being told by many people she would not be able to do anything. Kate is an active member of the law society section for solicitors with disabilities as well as being active within the local community including volunteering with DART(disabled afloat riverboat Trust) helping to organise trips for disabled people and their carers. Kate leads an active life and I believe after overcoming several drawbacks is an inspiration to those with disabilites that they can go on to lead active and exciting lives.
