Karen Mayor

Karen Mayor is an inspirational local hero.This 49 year old married mum of twin daughters devotes herself to assisting many hundreds of others in their time of greatest need. Karen is both trustee and tresurer for the Lincoln community larder,an organisation which provides food and essentials to people in the local community in times of extreme hardship. Other local charities she supports are the air ambulance and Lincoln YMCA hostal, raising annually over £500. Time is also given for the chernobyl children lifeline, as tresurer commitee member and fund raiser. Karen works in the personnel department of a large retail store, again helping people, going the extra mile. Her life is lived to the ideals of a Queens guide, which she was awarded in 1977. She is respected and much loved by all who know her. Karen is a true torch bearer each and every day !.
