Judith Stanley

Judith has been running the Hindlip Badminton Club for the past 15 years, during which time she has encouraged and inspired many people aged 18-80 to take up the sport, and to keep active in both mind and spirit.'

For the past 4 years she has also been undertaking voluntary work on behalf of the National Trust at Croome Park, where she is a garden steward - going out in all weathers, seeking out and talking to visitors from all walks of life, enthusiastically explaining the background and history of the Court and Gardens - as well as offering friendship and often much needed companionship.'

During the past 3 years Judith has also become a leading light of the Friends of Croome social committee, devoting a great deal of time to organising day trips, quiz evenings and a wide range of social events. All in all she is a very popular, inspirational and worthy nominee.
