Juan Howland

Juan joined douglas Lifeboat crew in 2003 as it gave him the opportunity to help others & put something back into the community. As a frequent user of the Sea through various water based sports - he became aware of the work the RLNI do. Following a succesful probationary period he passed as a full crew member in 2004 & more recently became deputy 2nd coxswain. During his time on the crew he has been involved in calm weather resuces to storm force wind / rough seas but the satisfaction knowing that the teams actions have helped bring someone to safety is always rewarding.
