Josh Snaith

I would like to nominate Josh to carry and Olympic Torch as he has proved to be a remarkable and caring young person over many years. Josh is 13 and is the main carer for his mother, he takes on responsibility and inderstanding beyond his yeats. Josh has helped to promote the cause of young carers recently at the Scottish Borders Young Carers Strategy, where he shared his experience and views in from of an adult audience of local decision makers, councillors and heads of services. His positive attitude and determination to help imporve the lives of young carers is inspirational to al lyoung people.
