Josh's nomination story

Josh walked the whole of the South West Coast Path (630) miles at 16 years of age for charity. It took him 8 weeks to walk the longest path in Britain raising a total of £3250 split between; the R.N.L.I as he volunteered at the Minehead Station for his Duke of Edinburgh Award; the 1st Watchet Sea Scouts as they have taught him so much and where he now helps the younger Cubs and Scouts teaching them sailing skills and the Minehead Royal Theatre Lift-Off Appeal, who are raising money for a lift to make their productions accessable to everyone. Josh overcome his nerves to talk to local groups in exchange for sponsorship and his grandmother asked for sponsorship for Josh instead of presents at her 70th Birthday. We are all so very proud of him and the significant amount raised will also make a difference to his chosen charities.
