Josh Jenkinson

I have been working at Feature Youth Club In Ulverston for almost 5 years and have attended the club since I was 9. As a voluntary leader I work in a team that provides a safe environment for kids aged between 8 to 16 to have fun and make new friends. The club runs every Friday during the school term time with being split between two age groups, 8 to 11 and 12 to 16. With the Club I have also helped organised family fun days and most recently to celebrate the royal wedding. I have also taken part in Key funds and other funding opportunities allowing kids to do things that they couldn't normally do such as Go ape, Ice skating, paint balling and much more. With the youth club I have also taken part in the Kewsick to Barrow twice now, last year raising almost £1500 for Lupus UK and this year for the club itself. Helping at the club has allowed me to help provide kids to have fun.
